Martin Niemoller a Lutheran pastor, spent years in Nazi prison for his peace & justice work.  In his popular poem,

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–Because I was not a Jew."

a few more lines can surely be added (as by Ann Chaudhry):

Then they came for the Native Americans, and I did not speak out – Because I was not a Native American.

Then they came for the Negro, and I did not speak out – Because I was not Negro.

Then they came for the Irish, and I did not speak out – Because I was not Irish.

Then they came for the Japanese, and I did not speak out –Because I was not Japanese.

Then they came for the Hispanic, and I did not speak out – Because I was not Hispanic.

Then they came for the alien, and I did not speak out – Because I thought I wasn’t alien.

Then they came for the Muslims, and I did not speak out –Because I was not Muslim.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

And a quote from Julian Assange:

“…that what happens to the Muslim community, sure enough, sooner or later, happens to the rest of us."

M. Zahid Chaudhry was unanimously elected President three years in a row for Veterans For Peace, Rachel Corrie Chapter 109 in Olympia, Washington.  Each year, due to health issues, he respectfully declined.  However in 2012, after giving a deathbed promise to former VFP109 President Duane King, Zahid has fulfilled his promise for the nearly last two years as President VFP109.

Zahid served US Army for Operation Iraqi Freedom and was twice "Honorably" discharged with service-related injuries & severe health issues that curtailed any career.  As has been the norm since the beginning of this country & including (among other) Presidential Executive Order 13269, authorizing expedited naturalization for those noncitizens who serve in any active-duty status in the Armed Forces.  Contrary to this expedited Executive Order; after having faithfully served the US and having initiated his naturalization while on active duty, Zahid is threatened with deportation.  Is this what happens to decorated, disabled American Veterans who strive hard for Peace & Justice?

Zahid has strongly stood out for peace and social justice, and has served the local area chapters of Veterans for Peace with dignity, honor, camaraderie and with an eye to justice to the best of his physical and medical capabilities.  This country shows dishonor and responds by intimidation, harassment and threats of deportation.  Is this what happens to people with a long history of hard work to create a world of peace & justice?

The KEEP ZAHID HOME & JUSTICE4CHAUDHRY CAMPAIGN COMMITTEES ask you to stand for peace, support justice and promote honor.

There will be a peaceful vigil & solidarity rally for justice outside the courtroom building on the street (see above for address); unless this court date is either changed or made moot by US Supreme Court's favorable decision on Zahid’s pro se writ certiorari, which is expected any time soon.
See http://keepzahidhome.org/us-supreme-court/

for details on pro se writ certiorari.

The immigration court is under the umbrella of Department of Homeland Security (which was only created after 9/11) and is currently housed on the 25th floor at 1000 2nd Ave., Seattle, WA. However, this “immigration” court is not necessarily geared towards immigrating, it decides to deport or not.  ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement) is also located in the same building and spread over multiple floors.

please watch the world-wide released video: “Muslims Need Not Apply” – the unconstitutional, illegal, immoral, unethical and secret CARRP program (Controlled Application Review & Resolution Program) created by USCIS (United States Citizenship & Immigration Services).

Only Congress can create laws, however USCIS has blatantly circumvented Congress and created its own secret, unconstitutional, illegal, immoral and unethical program to determine who gets to be a citizen of the United States and who does not.  The CARRP policy relies on deeply flawed mechanisms, and includes error-ridden & overbroad watch-list systems and security checks (peace & justice folks); and religious, national origin, and associational (Veterans For Peace) profiling.  It's not too surprising that it catches far too many harmless applicants in its net, and has overwhelmingly affected (and continues to affect) applicants who are Muslim - OR are perceived-to-be Muslim.  This secret (CARRP) policy directs (USCIS) officers to delay, deny and then look for (or create) reasons to deport.

Years of delay for naturalization, eventual denial, and now Zahid is in deportation proceedings.  Read the "HOME" webpages of both websites:

to see the overwhelming qualifications of his right for naturalization, which is being denied him.
